Founded by Marie Lora-Mungai in 2015, Restless Global leverages a deep network of experts across the African continent.
Over the past 18 years, Marie’s work - as an entrepreneur, investor and strategic advisor - has focused on creating compelling content, fostering long-lasting partnerships, and launching or supporting successful companies that showcase Africa’s diverse talents.
As a Creative entrepreneur, she notably built a studio and an 80-person production team in Kenya, raised several million dollars to finance African media initiatives, created and distributed viral TV shows (including the hugely popular XYZ SHOW now in its 13th season), launched one of the first VOD platforms on the continent (Buni.tv, acquired by TRACE Group), executive produced several TV series in Nigeria, organized a major event which generated $20 million in equivalent advertising value for partners, and ran a panafrican talent management agency.
